MyFinansy is a personal finance tracker. This page explains what data we keep, why, and how you control it.
What we store
Your email address and name (with Google sign-in — your Google name and email). Data you enter yourself: accounts, transactions, categories, budgets, goals, loans, recurring payments. Settings such as language, currency and theme. Subscription status.
Why
Only to run the app: show your finances, calculate analytics and forecasts, answer assistant questions, and send sign-in and password-reset emails. We don't sell data or show ads.
Google sign-in
We request only your email address and basic profile (name, photo) from Google. We have no access to Gmail, contacts, files or any other Google data.
Where and how data is stored
Database: Supabase. Hosting: Vercel. Connections are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) and data is encrypted at rest. Passwords are stored only as hashes. Bank statements and receipt photos you import are recognized in your browser and are not uploaded as files.
Payments
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Card details never reach us.
Financial assistant
When you ask the assistant a question, the question and a short summary of your finances (totals by account, category, recurring payment and goal, without your email or password) are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI model only to produce the answer. Anthropic does not use this data for training.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account and all data in the app settings, or email us and we'll delete it within 30 days.
